How to Plan a Reception

The custom of feasting a newly wedded couple is almost as old as marriage itself. It affords your relatives and friends an opportunity to greet you, wish you well and help you celebrate the happy occasion. The rules regarding receptions are much more flexible than those for wedding ceremonies, but there are still a few conventions which should be observed.
