How to Give a Wedding Gift

A wedding gift should be chosen with careful thought and an eye to practicality. It need not be expensive or in keeping with the size and style of the wedding. Sometimes it’s a very modest gift - one chosen with imagination and affection - which pleases a bride most of all. If you are unfamiliar with the couple’s tastes, it is best to play safe and give them china, silver, or some other item listed with their gift registry. Attempts to be cute or original often turn out to be useless“white elephants”. Money also makes a suitable - and always appreciated - wedding gift.
