Rainer Noack - Arts Person of the Year

Rainer was recently recognized with the

City of Burlington Arts Person of the Year Award.

Noack has developed, built and nurtured Burlington Student Theatre, a youth-centred, community-contributing organization. He is also a supporter of the arts and an integral part of Performing Arts Burlington. Last season, his students assisted at over 25 community events such as the Cycle for Autism, the New Year’s Eve Celebration and Youth Fest. Rainer also spends countless hours networking, creating, promoting and educating people in the arts – either as a board member of Creative Burlington or a strong supporter of the Burlington Performing Arts Centre. Recently, he coordinated the groundbreaking ceremony of the new Performing Arts Centre and the city’s Olympic Torch Relay event.
